Light Switch

Switches follow the same exact workflow as bulbs, just different naming.

  1. Create a Block part.
  2. Position it in your workspace.
  3. Name the part room.switch, make sure you use the .switch suffix.
  4. Place the part in the TinyLights folder in the workspace.
Workspace/
    TinyLights/
        room.light -- the sphere light
        room.switch -- the light switch

Make It Match

🏮TinyLights works by simply matching light bulbs to switches.

So, if you want a single room light, you need a switch and bulb.

room.switch + room.light

You can control additional lights by naming the bulbs the same.

den.switch + den.light + den.light

💡Light bulbs with the same name can still have unique attributes like color or range.

Examples:

Workspace/TinyLights/..

Light Name Switch Name
room2.light room2.switch
pool.light pool.switch
hallway.light hallway.switch
bathroom.light bathroom.switch

These must be stored in the TinyLights folder in the workspace.

Now you can adjust light attributes if you want!
