Light Switch
Switches follow the same exact workflow as bulbs, just different naming.
- Create a Block part.
- Position it in your workspace.
- Name the part
room.switch, make sure you use the.switchsuffix. - Place the part in the TinyLights folder in the workspace.
Workspace/
TinyLights/
room.light -- the sphere light
room.switch -- the light switch
Make It Match
🏮TinyLights works by simply matching light bulbs to switches.
So, if you want a single room light, you need a switch and bulb.
room.switch + room.light
You can control additional lights by naming the bulbs the same.
den.switch + den.light + den.light
💡Light bulbs with the same name can still have unique attributes like color or range.
Examples:
Workspace/TinyLights/..
| Light Name | Switch Name |
|---|---|
room2.light |
room2.switch |
pool.light |
pool.switch |
hallway.light |
hallway.switch |
bathroom.light |
bathroom.switch |
These must be stored in the TinyLights folder in the workspace.
Now you can adjust light attributes if you want!
